IPI Staff

Maneesh Sharma, Sr. M.D.

In practice for 15 years, Dr. Sharma of Interventional Pain Institute (IPI) provides holistic, multimodal approaches to help patients with both the neurologic and orthopedic conditions that cause pain. IPI is also a one-stop shop offering addiction counseling, physical and occupational therapy, and medical cannabis recommendations.

Dr. Sharma received his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin focusing on chemical engineering with research on Raman spectroscopy and oxygen radical reaction mechanisms, earned a doctorate of medicine with honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and was selected in his senior year to train in integrative, complementary, and alternative medicine in India. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and critical care at Johns Hopkins University.

Named among “Leading Physicians of the World” and a “Top Doctor” by the International Association of Anesthesiologists, Dr. Sharma was previously on staff at Johns Hopkins, and was director of Pain Medicine at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital.

Krupa Shah, PA-C

Krupa is a board-certified Physician Assistant with expertise in pain management, adult medicine, urgent care, and complementary medicine. She has additional training in  Homeopathic medicine from Baroda Homeopathic Medical College in India.

 

Ellenor Chance MSN, CRNP, FN-BC

Ellenor Chance, CRNP is a licensed Nurse Practitioner and native of Baltimore, MD. Ms. Chance completed her Master of Science in Nursing as well as her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Coppin State University. Ms. Chance is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners with a diverse background in substance abuse, pain management, family medicine, mental health disorders, and urgent care.

She began her career in the ICU managing the care of critically ill individuals. Ms. Chance is our Medical Cannabis Specialists, currently registered as a Certifying Provider with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission. She enjoys working with patients and building a strong compassionate relationship using a multi-modality approach to help promote the quality care for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
